Hivos DMEL Platform

What we did

Level73 designed and developed a custom Data Monitoring, Evaluation and Learning (DMEL) platform for Hivos through a long-term, iterative collaboration spanning over three years.

How we did it

The platform was built around the operational needs of an international organization, combining user research, stakeholder interviews, workflow analysis and progressive feature development.

Designed as part of a broader digital infrastructure, the system interoperates with third-party APIs and generates IATI-compliant XML files by aggregating and transforming information across multiple organizational environments.

As reporting requirements, workflows and organizational priorities evolved, the platform evolved with them — adapting to new technical specifications without compromising continuity or usability.

Current status

The project is currently maintained through an ongoing support process focused on sustainability, maintainability and long-term operational resilience.
