AIL Campaign Management Platform
The Operational Bottleneck
Every year, AIL – Associazione Italiana contro Leucemie, Linfomi e Mieloma coordinates two nationwide public awareness and fundraising campaigns supporting research and prevention activities across Italy.
The campaigns rely on hundreds of local stands distributed throughout public spaces nationwide, managed independently by local chapters and volunteer networks. The central organization needed a reliable way to collect, validate and publish operational information related to these stands, including schedules, addresses and geographic coordinates, in order to generate interactive maps for the organization's public website.
Previously, this information was gathered manually through spreadsheets submitted by local offices and subsequently reviewed, standardized and validated by the central administrative team — a process that generated significant operational overhead and data inconsistencies.
What we did
Level73 designed and developed a custom web application to streamline and centralize this workflow.
The platform allows local operators to position stands directly on an interactive map through a guided interface, automating data validation processes and significantly improving the reliability and consistency of the information collected across the network.
The system also generates embeddable widgets that can be integrated both into the organization's main website and into the websites of local chapters, creating a distributed yet synchronized digital ecosystem for campaign communication and public engagement.
Beyond stand management, the application provides advanced search capabilities, multi-format data exports and role-based access controls designed around the operational responsibilities of different users and administrative levels.
The Outcome
The result is a more efficient, maintainable and scalable infrastructure supporting nationwide coordination while simplifying editorial and organizational workflows for both local and central teams.
